The area has this nice residential vibe, and couples seem to really get it — there’s something romantic about the tree-lined streets that you don’t find in the more commercial parts of the city.

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — no wasted space, everything where it should be. The bed was actually comfortable, which isn’t always a given at this price point, and the air conditioning worked properly (trust me, in Mumbai, this matters more than you think). The bathroom was clean with decent water pressure, though don’t expect a rainfall shower or anything fancy. What I liked most was how quiet it stayed at night, even with the windows open — somehow the location shields you from most of the street noise.

  The hotel is very well located, close to the Khar station and with many restaurants and bars around. The rooms and bathroom aside from humidity and wet walls are clean and nice. The staff was also nice and professional despite the poor building conditions.
