The location rating of 8.2 from recent guests makes total sense when you’re sitting there with your feet in the sand, wondering why more people don’t know about this spot.

The rooms are comfortable without being flashy — exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star place. What I really appreciated was the free parking right on site, which is basically gold in Mumbai. The fitness center is decent if you need to work off all that good food, and the spa facilities are perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. I mean, there’s something to be said for being able to get a massage and then walk straight onto the beach afterward.

The breakfast situation here is actually pretty great — they focus on vegetarian options, which works perfectly in Mumbai where some of the best food doesn’t involve meat anyway. The restaurant serves solid Indian cuisine with some international dishes thrown in, though honestly, you’re so close to local spots in Malad that you’d be missing out if you didn’t venture beyond the hotel for at least a few meals. The staff seemed genuinely happy to recommend places nearby, which I always take as a good sign.

  Relaxed stay, clean room, breakfast was good, friendly staff. We went here to do very little and relax, which was a success. When you want to something outside the resort, that is also possible, but take into account that it takes quite some time (by taxi) to get into Mumbai
